Acclaimed filmmaker Aaron Russo directs this thorough investigation into the creation of the Federal Reserve and the controversial legislation (or lack thereof) that requires all American citizens to pay income taxes. Through revelatory interviews with key members of Congress, a former IRS Commissioner, tax attorneys, agents from the IRS and FBI, and various authors, Russo demystifies federal income tax and the creation of money.

WASHINGTON - A record 7 million people -- or one in every 32 American adults -- were behind bars, on probation or on parole by the end of last year, according to the Justice Department.
Of those, 2,193,798 were in prison or jail, an increase of 2.7 percent over the previous year.
Even though data show more prison releases, the report said, admissions still exceed releases. More than 4.1 million people were on probation and 784,208 were on parole at the end of 2005.

You are fired. Not once have you taken any of my correspondence seriously, nor answered any letter with a substantive response. Unless you intend to sign an Affidavit, swearing to abolish the FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM and the IRS, not to mention the New World Order . . . then my wife and I will vote for sending you home.

Granny Warriors Against Injustice give Pres. Bush AFTF DVD
This morning we spoke with Linda Hunnicutt, co-Founder of Granny Warriors Against Injustice
An AFTF DVD of the full movie is being overnighted to Linda so it can be shown in one of the biggest flea markets in the country this weekend in Bonner (sp?) Texas. Linda and her group - along with their BIG "road warrior" bus/trailer - said they were recently emcamped in Crawford TX to protest NAIS - ie. the proposed act that will require the chipping of all farm animals nationwide. While in Crawford Linda said she personally handed an AFTF PromoDVD to President Bush. Right before the President could take the DVD a US Secret Service agent swooped into take the DVD away from him/her.
According to Linda, the next day one of the members of President Bush's Secret Service details came up to Linda and her group and said that President Bush viewed part of the DVD and his comment was that "he was not happy about it." [See Website for more]
The Arizona Republic on AFTF: "Watching America: Freedom to Fascism will make you spitting mad"
by Kerry Lengel, 10/6/06 "When politicians propose a national ID card, Russo sees it as the endgame of a master plan by "bankers" to impose world government and enslave mankind, a plan that began in 1913 with the 16th Amendment and the creation of the Federal Reserve. And he seems to think that all threats to liberty would disappear if we just went back to the gold standard.
The Salt Lake Tribune on AFTF: "Russo... makes Michael Moore look like Walter Cronkite"
by Sean P. Means "I don't know enough to say whether the accusations movie producer lobbed by Aaron Russo ("The Rose," "Trading Places") in this firebrand documentary -- that the law allowing the IRS to collect income taxes is nonexistent, or that the Federal Reserve Bank is unconstitutional, or that bankers are plotting to create a fascist global government in which all citizens would have computer chips implanted under the skin -- are true or not. " [Continued on Website]
The Oregonian on AFTF: "If it's true, we're all due a monumental refund"
by Marc Mohan, 9/29/06 "With that title, you might expect another documentary about the erosion of American civil liberties in the name of the war on terror, and this film gets there eventually." Continued on Website
Arizona Daily Star on AFTF: "Russo's research is intriguing."
by Phil Villarreal, 10/5/06 ""Freedom to Fascism" starts off as a humorous exposé on a legal loophole — that most Americans aren't technically required to file income-tax returns. Russo's research is intriguing. He contends, for example, that the Federal Reserve is a privately owned bank granted the authority to print money with no backing whatsoever." [Continued on Website]
by Mark Olsen, 9/29/06 "A former talent manager and film producer who has more recently emerged as a libertarian activist, Mr. Russo begins his film as a study of the federal government's right to collect income taxes. It's an idea that's elegant in its simplicity: What is the exact law that allows the government to demand our money? Perhaps not surprisingly, it turns out to be a trickier question than it seems, one that opens whole realms of legal and ideological debate." [Continued on Website]
Deseret News on AFTF: "There is food for thought here."
by Jeff Vice, 10/6/06 "This documentary feature begins as a think piece questioning the legality of the federal income tax system and scores several points along the way." [Continued on Website]
The Movie Chicks:"should have called this: Why You Don't Have To Pay Taxes!"
by Cherryl Dawson and Leigh Ann Palone "If Russo really wanted to attract an audience, he should have called this: Why You Don't Have To Pay Taxes! Now that's a title that would get people in the seats." [Continued on Website]
